I still did not get my tax refund from 2018.

Q) I still did not get my tax refund from 2018. Why is it so hard to get my tax back? Whenever I call they just told me to wait and wait. Please I need urgent help.
A) According to the IRS – Some tax returns take longer to process than others for many reasons, including when a return:
Includes errors
Is incomplete
Is affected by identity theft or fraud
Includes a claim filed for an Earned Income Tax Credit or an Additional Child Tax Credit. See Q&A below.
Includes a Form 8379, Injured Spouse Allocation, which could take up to 14 weeks to process
Needs further review in general
We will contact you by mail when we need more information to process your return. https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions
I haven’t received my refund from my 2019 tax return. This is April 14, 2021. I already filed by 2020 tax return. How much longer will I need to look for the 2019 refund. I can’t get through to IRS by phone, or the local tax office for an appointment. Refund status is no help.
