I have checked with my bank and they have not received my tax refund
Q) I have not received my tax refund. I checked with the IRS about when my refund would be sent. My result was that the refund was deposited into my checking account at my bank on March 18, 2022. I have checked with my bank and they have not received my refund.,. I need my refund. Who can help find my refund.
A) The IRS advise all Tax Filers to wait up to 5 days before contacting your bank due to variations in different bank processing times/procedures. You can ask your bank if a direct deposit was attempted and refused. If after 5 days, your bank still says they didn’t receive it, you can phone the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 to verify where they sent the funds.
I have bee unable to talk to anyone or get an appointment at any office around me for over a month. There is a mistake that does not allow my account to be autopaid and I am getting overlapping bills and penalties even though I paid online.
