I’ve been working with a CPA in Appleton, WI. since early 2021. She has been doing the accounting (QuickBooks) for my wife’s and my real estate business. She was also preparing our state and federal tax returns. She sent my 2022 tax returns for my review on September 17th. I reviewed them and found an error. I sent an email telling her as much but, since that date I have not received any replies to my multiple emails and phone calls. My 2022 tax returns are now overdue. I do have a copy of the 2022 returns (with the error, unfortunately). Apparently there is no way I can submit them to the IRS because there is no signature line for my wife and me because we opted to let CPA to send them in. We cannot go visit her offices because we live in Panama, Central America. We get back up to WI each June and July. So, until then, I cannot go visit my current CPA’s office to knock on her door to find out what’s going on. I have no idea if she’s having health problems, financial problems, or if she’s dead for that matter. I’m looking for help in getting my 2022 tax returns filed given the predicament I’ve laid out above. I will also need bookkeeping and tax prep services right away. Are you willing to talk with me? Believe me, my wife and I are definitely not confrontational, nitpickers, ignorant, complainers, or any other reason for our CPA’s actions of late. I hope to hear from you.
