Q) I am trying to get information about y I haven’t received my taxes yet. I’ve tried to call my local office and all the IRS numbers available and cant contact anyone. I need answers..my family is low income and need that money
A) According to the IRS website: Before visiting your IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center for in-person you need to call 844-545-5640 to schedule an appointment; all TACs provide service by appointment. Once you have made an appointment , you will receive an automated email to the address you provide. The email will confirm the day and time of your appointment. You should consider the self-service options on IRS.gov website before calling for an appointment. You can usually resolve many questions online without having to travel to a Tax Assistance Center.
I have bee unable to talk to anyone or get an appointment at any office around me for over a month. There is a mistake that does not allow my account to be autopaid and I am getting overlapping bills and penalties even though I paid online.
