I have not received my stimulus check.
I have not received my stimulus check. I called the IRS, Fiscal Services Bureau and the Treasury Dept. They all informed me IRS is holding the check because my husband, Albert
L. Aleman, passed away on 4/6/2020. The IRS made the check out for $2400 and it should have been for $1200 just for me. I have not received a corrected check. Due to my husband’s illness and death, I have a lot of bills and need this check. Can you find out why it’s taking so long for a new check to be issued to me? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any personal information and where I can contact you with further information.
They send my husband a letter with a number to call. It states they are to busy to take calls try tomorrow. It has been over a week off calling everyday. He and I have more than 10 hours of trying every phone number on letter plus our local office. I am done.
